I'm Staecy, I started Dogs Of Town in 2021 after rethinking what it was in life I really wanted to do. My love for dogs, having always dolled up my dogs, and love for creating took me down the road of sewing for dogs. Guessing you love dogs too :)
I learned to sew, stitch and embroider through watching videos. Soon after purchasing my first sewing machine, I made local bandanas using old jeans and Dogs Of Town began. The possibilities of what one can create from re-use and upcycling are endless, hoping to share some of that with you. Having always been an animal lover and artistic, sewing fun finds with custom chainstitch embroidery has turned into a new passion.
Working alongside my two rescues, I handcraft custom dog neckwear made from quality worn denim, organic/natural hemp and remnant fabric. Sourcing well-made used jeans, natural fibers and beautiful textile waste is a constant. Discontinued material and offcuts are often used for patchwork.
Neckwear is designed around each dog, sewn one-by-one with focus on small details. Products are carefully stitched and sewn in small batches for all dog breeds. Locally-themed and custom pieces are made to order in Franklin, Tennessee.
