I'm Staecy, I started Dogs Of Town in 2021 after rethinking what brings me joy. My love for dogs, having always dolled up my own, and love for creating took me down the road of sewing for dogs. Guessing you love dogs too :)
Learned to sew by watching videos, trial and error. Soon after purchasing my first machine, I made local bandanas using old jeans. The possibilities of what one can create from re-use and upcycling are endless! Having always been an animal lover and artistic, sewing fun finds for dogs with custom chainstitching using vintage machines has turned into a growing passion.
Working alongside my two rescues, I handcraft custom dog neckwear made from quality worn denim, organic hemp and remnant fabric. Sourcing well-made used jeans, natural fibers and beautiful textile waste (there's such a thing) is a constant. Discontinued samples and offcut material is often used for patchwork.
Neckwear is designed for every breed, sewn one-by-one with focus on fine details. Products are carefully stitched and sewn in small batches. Locally-themed and custom pieces are made to order in Franklin, Tennessee.
